GT's 65th birthday
BIG DOINGS HERE (my cats Dillinger and Baby Face took extra long naps in my honor!)
Made some venizon chili, napped, watched some TV, perused the internet.
Had our first snowfall Friday night (about 2-3 inches) which hasn't melted off yet
as our temps are in the 20's due to some early weather blowing through. It should
melt off soon as rain approaches, but we may have another record snowfall this year
(would be the 3rd in a row since 1949!) Summer sure did go by fast this year!
Thanksgiving around the corner and then Xmas. Just can't feel any Xmas spirit
as the retailers start their Xmas ads on TV. Maybe we'll get back to its ORIGINAL
Spirit of fellowship, as the gifts won't be as plentiful (if at all!) for so many in distress.
Do what you can locally for your fellow man this season. Volunteer in a soup kitchen
or help out the homeless in your area. But STAY SAFE whatever you do.
Things are getting tense just below the surface.

GT is suffering from a painful stiff neck.
I might not be able to get up tomorrow and post
charts with too many comments.
My hot tub is down, and besides all the info about stiff necks
on the internet indicate cold paks until the swelling goes down.
The symptoms could be anything from flu, to meningitis and a heart attack.
I don't think I have those, as I don't have the accompanying symptoms
like fever, but I do ache all over. I just ache all over, but don't feel sick at all.
I often sleep in bad positions by stuffing my pillow under my head as my old aching
body doesn't roll over very easy anymore. This is just a new ache for now.
My current gold position is way underwater, but I would like to trade some on the way
back up to offset the loss of income while I have been waiting for this position to float back up.
There is still plenty of room for gold to fall to hit the 75% fib of the major up move, so stay alert if it drops down to 906.20 or close to it for a decent buy in.
I'm going to bed now at 6:10pm pdst and try to get some rest on my neck and old body.

7:00AM PST GT IS DOWN WITH COMPUTER PROBLEMS FOR A LONG TIME
I have made some progress on my computers and actually did enough trading today
to make the day pay off.
After much analysis,testing and switching cables many times, I find that the little antenna on my NIC CARD in one computer was broken off.
I don't know if I did that moving things around or not. I probably did.
But I don't think that would have affected my other computers.
The router was connected to the computer with the broken antenna which was the central computer in my little 3 computer wireless configuration.
The other computers only received their internet wireless signal from the router.
They were not set up to be able to communicate or share between each of them.
I never had any luck or time to set it up to share files. Always had some problem that stole hours from my days with no progress made.
I didn't need to share files anyway.
A new router is ordered and I'll buy a new NIC CARD to replace the one I broke.
I may just buy a new computer to replace this XP machine, but then I have the problem of having any new computer coming installed with VISTA. So if I want to have an XP machine, I would have to buy XP on it's own, and it's only good for ONE COMPUTER AT A TIME.
One problem after another today.
I guess it's a sign to vacuum all the cat hair and dust out of all the computers as they are pretty filthy right now.
It's amazing how fast dirt builds up on fans and heat sinks and air holes.
That's all for now. Looks like I keep working until I get it all straightened out enough to trade.
This market is really making some very profitable moves even though it's not really going anywhere.

I'm back up and have solved many problems by doing a complete System Restore of my problem computer. That solved the Blogger problems that occurred today.
The logging on to my order placing platform turned out to be just having to, once again, disconnect my modem and router, to let them reset their 'brains', which I had just done the day before. But that's the starting point as you trouble shoot your system, after you have ascertained that you have a working input from your ISP.
This bullshit took the whole day, done on an hour and a half sleep, and cost me THOUSANDS in lost opportunity as the gold market zoomed up.
Oh well, another day, another fifty cents!
